Waiting for the Easter egg hunt to begin...so serious.
A picture with Grandpa and Grandma Gehl. Even little Pete joined the picture...much to Copper's chagrin since Copper spent the afternoon in our car.
A quick family photo of the 3 of us after church. Charlie was extra "spirited" during church and I don't think that it was the spirit of Easter that got to him, it was the sitting still and listening to mom and dad. It is hard to be an active two-year-old boy some days.
What do you get if you misbehave during church? Whatever you want if you are with your grandparents :). Charlie loved driving the lawn mower around Steve and Jan's backyard.
Despite his indiscretions during church, the Easter Bunny found Charlie and gave him a new Winnie the Pooh book, a helicopter/bubble maker, M&M's, a recorder, and a velcro ball/"glove" thing.
We went back to Cascade yesterday to meet our new nephew, Miles (Milo), who was born on Tuesday. Charlie entertained himself for most of the drive back by putting on his mittens and then asking me to hold everything for him.
BJ holding his nephew Milo for the first time - he is such a cute baby and sweet little boy!
Milo checking out his dad and big brother Max. We won't see Milo for a few weeks so I trust that we'll be updated pictures (hint, hint) so that we recognize him when we see him in a month!
In other news, Sweet Pea and I continue to grow. We had the chance to find out what we were having last week at our ultrasound and although tempting, we agreed to wait again until delivery day. I've asked Charlie a few times if he thinks it is a "girl baby" or a "boy baby" and he responds with "a big baby". He might be traumatized with how large my stomach will become in the next few months!
