Sleepover

We were lucky to have Aunt Jenn and Cousin Max come to Norwalk for a sleepover this weekend.  Charlie loves to watch Max and seemed to like showing off his mad crawling skills.  It was a pretty low-key weekend and many great discussions took place, but the one topic that kept coming up was our newfound appreciation of Texas Toast.  I bought a loaf of Texas Toast bread for french toast on Saturday morning and we subsequently used it for grilled cheese.  It was a little culinary discovery and I'm just relieved that I discovered it at age 30 instead of 60.  What can I say, we heart Texas Toast now.

Charlie is a moving and bouncing fool so it has become increasingly difficult to snap a picture of him where he isn't just a blur...this is all evidenced in the gallery below.

Somewhat blurry, but I wanted to point out that I was on the floor playing while BJ was sitting on couch with his feet up.  That doesn't normally happen, but I try to get photographic evidence whenever possible.

This was the best picture that I could get of Charlie sitting still - Max did a great job of trying to keep him contained.

Checking out Charlie's exersaucer.

Max trying to stick his head through one of the legs of the exersaucer...I plan to use this as blackmail when max gets older.

Thanks again for visiting Jenn and Max - you are welcome anytime!
